How ICT Backup Works

The ICT Backup.net backup manager is installed on your computer.  This encrypts all the data before it leaves your systems, and then transfers it to our systems though a secured connection to our servers.  Your data is stored on our systems in encrypted form and can only be unencrypted with the key that you hold.  This is only done when you restore data back on to your computer.
1 ICT Backup Manager on your computer encrypts the data use AES encryption with your specified key.
2 Encrypted data is sent down an SSL secured connection to our Main Server
3 Your data still encrypted is stored on our Main Server
4 A copy of your data - still encrypted - is sent to our backup server in a second location by a second secured connection
